Following 343 Industries’ resolution to delay Halo Infinite to 2021 and miss the launch of Microsoft’s Xbox Collection X/S, its growth took one other flip for the more serious right now as director and longtime studio govt Chris Lee left the studio. It’s the second director that Halo Infinite has misplaced over the previous two years.
The information comes by means of a report from Bloomberg, who spoke to Lee and was advised the next:
“I’ve stepped again from Infinite and I’m taking a look at future alternatives. I consider within the staff and am assured they may ship an incredible sport and now is an efficient time for me to step away.”
Microsoft later responded to Bloomberg with the next assertion:
“Chris Lee stays a Microsoft worker and whereas he has stepped again from Halo: Infinite proper now, we respect all he has completed for the undertaking up to now.”
Lee has been with 343 Industries for over 10 years and has overseen the Halo collection since its inception. He has co-headed the studio since 2016.
Halo: Infinite’s reveal throughout the Xbox Collection X’s first-ever digital showcase was met with a muted reception, principally on account of what many thought of to be lackluster graphics and shoddy character fashions. One specific picture has since grow to be a preferred meme.
Halo Infinite has been delayed indefinitely and at present has no launch date.
